Open won't give browse window

Went to "open" and normally get window to browse for my drawing on our server. Now , in the Command Line, it just says  "enter name of drawing to open". Pretty much just put me out of business.  Autocad won't give me the browse window.

Thanks for any help.

Try setting FILEDIA = 1

PS  I worked around it by opening drawings from my Windows file manager.

Setting FILEDIA=1 is the correct solution, but you can also type "~" to force a dialog box to open, even when FILEDIA=0.
