Welcome to the Autodesk forums.

By default, linetypes in Modelspace and Paperspace (Layout) are both scaled according to the Annotation Scale (the scale list in the AutoCAD status bar)  Try setting both scale lists to the same value  (REGEN may be required to update the display)

If for some reason that doesn't work double check that MSLTSCALE and PSLTSCALE are both set to "1"  (default)

nestly2 and imadhabash are right.  After doing what they suggested you can also try adjusting the linetype scale in the properties window.  If your hidden line is coming out as a solid line on the paperspace, try a bigger scale, 5.00, 100 etc

Thank you eveyone that helped me find out what was wrong. The tips help my knowldedge base for AutoCAD just that bigger. But they were not the problem. The problem that I had found was I had copy and paste anothe drawing and it did not like the file. So I redrew the plans on a new model and VP the layout again. Sometime being fast is not the being fast.
