Welcome to these Forums!

[That's not a square.]  If it's really 900x60, then clearly one that's 600x300 won't fit  inside it.  If you really mean that it's 900x600 mm, you can OFFSET it at a distance of 150, inward, to get 600x300.  Or am I misunderstanding?

Hi,

I think you meant your inside profile size to be 600x30, or maybe your initial size was supposed to be 900x600?

If you create your square from individual line segments using the line command then you would offeset eaqch line inward by the appropriate distance using the Offset command.  The first prompt of the Offset command is offset distance, the next prompt and continuing prompts as for the object to offset and the direction or side to offset the object to.

If you create your profile using the Rectangle command then it is a joined POLYLINE and can be offset inward all at once.  However you will get an error if you attempt to offset more than the profile size allows.

If you wish to join your individual linework to a POLYLINE then use the JOIN command.

Hope this helps,

Blaine
