@nesmat.abdallah , Usually problems are caused by block definitions being different in the two drawings you are copying between, but not like this - it appears there is some corruption in the data coming in which is indicated by some of your linework being stretched to different locations. Make sure that both drawings are using the same UCS, and rotation and if you are working in viewports try doing your copy from modelspace instead. If you used copy + paste I suggest you try wblocking and inserting instead. Otherwise run an audit on both drawings and choose the option to repair any problems you encounter and try again.

Let me know if any of these suggestions help.

Thanks: in file #2 set both UCS and PLAN commands to WORLD and your problem goes away.

Basically, you lost track of your UCS orientation: the bigger problem is your flat 2-elevation is not flat and has many Z elevations and is totally out of whack. FLATTEN command doesn't seem to help much sadly.

Is this something you drafted/created in AutoCAD, or is it imported from another program or conversion?

Hello,
unfortunatelly changing the UCS and PLAN commands to "World" did not help when pasting the whole drawing from file "Plan 1" to file "Plan 2". Still many objects get dislocated.
Do you have any idea why is this so and how to solve it?

Thank you in advance!
