I still haven't been able to get the glass objects to plot as transparent.
As I speculated in my first post, I don't think AutoCAD can produce a straight vector rendering with transparencies. I think it is up to the CAD operator to mimic the effect via compositing various views/geometries/transparencies/layering. As a example of overlaying transparencies, see attached. I'm not sure How AutoCAD 2015's PDF plotter handles transparencies - 2016 work well with them.
I am unable to open your dwg, Alfred.NESWADBA,
since my version of Autocad is 2015- older than yours.
Also, I am able to make objects as transparent as i like in the model space as well as in the viewports, but they do not show up with the same transparencies when I plot them. That's where the problem is- plotting transparent objects.
