I am a construction teacher in a high school that teaches autoCAD software. I am having issues with some projects, that my students are drawing, not saving. We save on the documents folder of our desktops. The next day, that folder with have no content inside from what we did the previous day. We then were saving our projects on a USB drive cause we thought maybe there was an issue with the computer. However, just now a student tried to open up his file that he saved continuously throughout the time he was working on it, and there was no content in his file. I am starting to loose a lot of my students interest in the program because of this happening all the time so please respond to my email and let me know if there is something we are doing wrong or what can be done to make this work.

There isn't any file in the USB?
It could be you have option to save as .dxf and other format not .dwg
so when you try to open it, no .dwg shown.
