No grips on viewport in Student Autocad 2020

I have ticked all the Grips options in (Right click-options-selection) when I click on a view that I have just inserted into my layout paper space. There are no grips available to manipulate the view. Any Ideas on how to fix this problem?

It would help to upload the dwg-file so we see which object it is exactly in paperspace and the settings of the paperspace itself.

Also helpful:

• starting command _ABOUT and show us a screenshot so we know which product/version/update you are working with
• starting command _AUDIT to see if there are issues with the drawing
• try the same object in another dwg-file

Check your viewport layer. Is the layer locked? There will be no grips if the layer is locked
