Newbie help on producing 3D solids and CFD testing

Hello I'd say I'm relatively new to CAD as I've only worked on 2D models in university however for my dissertation I have produced something in 3D (self taught). I thought I had finalised my piece ready for me to try CFD test it so I could get some results however I don't really know what I am doing. The 3D model is still classed as a group (I think it's a mesh as it isn't solid). So I need some help getting it to the stages where it could be put in CFD software. I am happy to post my file if anyone could help me.

Long story short. Need help preparing my 3D model for CFD testing, have no idea what's wrong with it or how to test it

Thank you in advance

Convert mesh to solid doesn't always work, you'll get self intersecting all the time, so expect the bad news.

Use Fusion360, it works with Mesh.

You can ask for assistance here:

How was it drawn up?

I can't say that Autocad cannot convert it to 3d, post your drawing and see.

I drew the nose cone section myself and then used the loft command to make it fit to the airframe of the aircraft. The aircraft model was downloaded from online
