As a forum member, I noticed that some new members dropped their questions to the forum and never respond to other members' help.

Helpers may think their helps are wasting time.

Please give your feedback even if someone's answer doesn't really solve you problem.

Please mark "Accept as Solution" and "Like" if my reply resolves the issue and it will help when others need helps.

@BeKirra Sounds good too me. I see it happening way too often and I'm left wondering if the problem was ever resolved.

I agree, but I doubt it will ever change. Some people just think we are here solely to answer their questions, like robots. They don't care about our emotions, our aspirations, our dreams. They just take our help and leave without saying thank you and goodbye.

But in all seriousness, yes feedback/response would be nice.

Hello from France

 

I try to be present on the Autodesk US Forums AND I am present on the 2 "most important" French Forums (one for CAD & Autodesk, the other for GIS) ...

 

On these 2 French forums, I estimate that about 95-98% of people are "asking" and never "participate / answer" !

Unfortunateley it is the Internet / Web life !!

 

I don't know if it is the same percentage into the US Forums ??

Sorry I know nothing about French and I don't know the percentage about the forums here.

The worst is when they ask for help, someone responds by asking a question to clarify the request (so that a better answer can be given) and the OP never responds with an answer to the clarification question.

 

And this issue isn't just "new members" -- I've seen it with people who've "been around" for a while too.
