Need help with 3D Orbit as default with shift middle-mouse click

I've been using AutoCAD since version 9 but have had a few years away from solid 3D work. I'm also new to the forum.

I can't seem to figure out how to set the shift middle mouse button to Free 3D Orbit. I only work on mechanical components and the constrained 3D orbit is not working for me since I have to view my parts from all angles and it doesn't change to suit the current UCS.

I had a look at the macro by going into CUI but I don't know what the macro would be for transparent Free 3D.

Hi,

Type CUI in command line and see if it's the same as below image ?

Thanks for replying and yes, that is the macro that is in place right now. That gives me constrained 3D orbit and I need Free 3D orbit. Is there a way to change it?

Thanks for replying. That is how it is set up right now. It does a constrained orbit with the shift middle mouse button. I need Free 3D Orbit though

Shift + Ctrl + middle mouse button should do it.
