Need help creating surfaces

Hi,

Having issues trying to create a surface between sheet piles,

The piles have a 2mm gap between them.

What would be the best way to create a surface between all these piles?

I've tried hatching with gap tolerance, But cad/or my pc can't handle making the hatch.

What i'm trying to do is to create a concrete pad onto of these piles as a cap.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi,

can you please upload the drawing and let us know which version of AutoCAD you are using?

>> can't handle making the hatch

Surface and hatch are 2 different object types, what do you really need?

What is a good habbit in 3D for modelling process is to use a simplified sheet piling connection.

You can make this 3D dynamic block in a array function. For the details you can switch to a 2D connection.

This is how we do it in both AutoCAD ánd Inventor .. see below

Hi,

I've been messing around with the drawing, Its changed a bit from the earlier snipping.

Im trying to create a 150mm thick concrete pad onto of the extruded piles circled in red.

Forgive the simplified clutches on the piles, Might redraw them tomorrow they are a bit rough.

I just like to know how i can easily extrude the area between the piles.

Hi,

Please look to that situation:

From my understanding you want to get the area between that two lines, but as long as they are overlapping like here (and that is already regenerated and that happens in more than just this position) this might be the reason you can't find/fill the area.
