I've tried to alt+spacebar and tried to move the window back onto screen, but it still wont show up. I have 2 monitors and I tried turning one off and the other and also tried switching different monitors to the main monitor, but nothing is working. I think i would have to try to reset autocad to default settings to try to get the viewcube settings window back?

My nav cube and bar are fine. its when i need to get into the viewcube settings that the window is missing. when you right click on the WCS icon, it brings up "viewcube settings". I tried finding the viewcube settings window in the CUI menu, but i couldnt find it there. im at a loss

So I tried this in the screenshot below and it works with the arrow keys.  The only issue is if you don't know where it is exactly, you don't know which arrows to use, but you can try it.

........also I found that when you use the arrow keys, you can simply grab the mouse without clicking anything and just move the mouse around and the missing dialog box will be stuck to it.  Once you see it on your screen just click once and it will place it at that spot.

one of the first things ive tried and it normally works for all the other autocad windows. I was thinking i would have to reset the window position in CUI like you would with a tool palette window, but I cant seem to find viewcube settings window in CUI. I tried alt+spacebar, casading and turning off monitors to get it back, but with no luck

Hmmmmmm......this is a good one.  I am not sure right off hand then.  I guess, can you take it home tonight and see if shows up with that different monitor setup?

I'd think the CUI would not work because in order to be in the CUI that Settings dialog box must be closed, thus, it doesn't show up as an active dialog box?  Maybe?

Even at that though, I can't imagine your monitor setup being so different that a dialog box just goes missing off screen, especially just one of them, unless it was accidentally and got moved a lot while at home.

Chime in tomorrow if you don't mind with what you found out.

This will be an unsatisfactory conclusion, but my autodesk crashed and when I brought it back, the window started working properly again. It opens up in the middle of monitor now. Ghost in these machines, i tell you.

I have two monitors at home, where as at work, i have 3. and youre right, most my windows work properly or alt+spacebar works, but this time, the viewcube settings window disappeared for 2 weeks only to magically reappear. very strange stuff

Ha, that sucks man.  I guess as long as you didn't lose much work.
