My F9 key doesnt work right

My current F9 when I press it, windows file explorer opens. In the CUI, F9 is snapmode.

Not sure how to get it to work right.

You are either on a laptop or a specialized 3rd party wireless keyboard, yes?
You might have forgot to study your keys if so

Other F keys work fine. F8 toggles ortho. F10 toggles polar. F9 opens an explorer window.

So this is NOT a laptop or a specialized keyboard? Then you have something in your AutoCAD (add-on or startup) that is changing that for you, regardless of what your CUIx is showing: did you purchase or add something recently?

AND... did you restart your computer yet?

Next steps are to reset of your AutoCAD (you'll have to backup your customizations first, test without restoring them to confirm the issue is gone, then when you reload your customizations and the issue reappears then you added something to do that).

It is a laptop.  Its been doing this for a while, and just really is getting annoying. My F3 and F9 open up explorer, everything else seems to be default. 

Nothing recently installed. 

I can live with it, not gonna go thru the trouble on installing autocad again. Just thought it would be an easy fix.

You can try starting AutoCAD in safemode just to see if this is caused by an addon

In case you’re confused reset is not the same as installing
