Multiple copies of same drawing. Tabs overlapping.

I'm not aware of having made an update or change to settings, but I have recently noticed two things that I cannot correct.

1) My drawing tabs are overlapping so you can only see the currant drawing tab. I have to select from a drop down list.

2) If I attempt to open a drawing from a folder that is already open, nothing happens. If I open a drawing that is already open (even open by myself) it opens it without any warning or error notice on the same Autocad window (but read only).

I'm working around it, but I'd like to change it back if possible.

Thank you.

1. Post a screenshot of your entire AutoCAD Program screen showing your overlapping tabs issue please.

2. Where are your files stored? How o you access them? Cloud service like GoogleDrive and others are not supported and may be the issue.

Screenshot attached.

Files are stored on a company server. The Excel just hyperlinks to that location.

We do have a system that allows us to open from online, but I'm bypassing that as per usual (just confirmed this).

See if this will help with your FILETAB issue https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Tabs-or-...

Excel hyperlinks? You use Excel to open dwg files in AutoCAD?

For some unknown reason my profile had switched to a default profile.

Switching back has restored my tabs.

Potentially point number 2 may have always been there and only brought to my attention because I couldn't see what was already open. However, it doesn't flagged up when a colleague has it open either and surely that isnt right?

It does show the padlock on the tab so I may just need to keep my eyes peeled.

Thank you.
