Moving .bak files to automated archive subfolders

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

I once worked with a guy that rigged his settings so that the .bak files created would go to an 'archive' folder within each project folder and would generate a sub-folder with that day's date so that it catalogs a set of backups for the project everyday. How can I do this? Can I also control how often backups are created?

Thanks!

That doesn't sound like an AutoCAD setting, that sounds like a lisp routine or some other macro.
