Move command not working properly

My co-worker is having issues with the move command in one drawing in AutoCAD 2018.

While selecting multiple objects, in model space, layered over one another, when she moves them they don't move the same distance.

The work around she's found is to move them through the viewport in paperspace, rather than trying to do it in model space. But it's still somewhat of a nuisance.

"in one drawing"

And you/another workstation works fine?  I can not really believe that.

DYNMODE and DYNPICOORDS is ok?

UCS PLAN are the next commands to check if the problem appears on all Workstations with that drawing (coordinatesystem and view of modelspace)

Can you share the (part) of DWG? Describe exactly your/her How to move action.

Are you in perspective view via DVIEW or something?

HI @Anonymous,

I guess I am having a hard time visualizing this. Are the parts in 3D? Is this happening only in one file? can you attach it to a post so I can take a quick look?

I had the same issue with the move command not working as I was accustomed.  The solution I found was in options/selection and the press and drag object selection. When I checked that the drag and drop as well as the move functions started working as normal

The dynmode on mine was set to -3.  I changed it to 3 and no problems so far.

lol my DYNMODE was on (1) and I changed it to (-1) Not sure if we had the exact same issue. My move command would respond if I dragged the objects,: however if I would use coordinates, the object would (at least) appear to move to coordinates until I would hit enter for the Z axis ( ex...0,0,0). try that!! good luck 😉
