Projectgeometry returns error

I want to extend the short pink line to the surface of the nearest solid, along the z axis.

I used Projectgeomentry but:

Sweep self intersects.

HI @Karol-Or,

Can you instead just grab the endpoint grip of the pink line and drag it? I did this and drew a line that was aligned with the top face. I could then use fillet.

Or are you trying to truly PROJECT the line onto the face?
