Modelspace not displaying bottom portion of screen

When drawing in modelspace, linework below a certain part of the screen is not visible.  I can get proper visibility only if the modelspace window is more square, so having side dock menus makes more of the drawing visible.  It's as if CAD can only display a certain aspect ratio within the modelspace window.  However, I want to see more of my drawing and don't need the menus open.  When I zoom or pan around, the lower part of my drawing is obscured below some invisible horizontal border.

Oddly, polylines are not subject to this phenomenon.  They display correctly where other linework is hidden.

Photo attached.

Strange, sounds like a graphics problem.

Try turning off hardware acceleration in GRAPHICSCONFIG.

Wild guess, 3dclip is set and on.  Turn it off in the 3DCLIP dialog box that will come up, and then get back to the command line to see if that was it.
