mleader starting point snapped at geometric center don't move with geometry

Hi,

I have an issue with mleader behavior if the starting point is snapped at the geometric center snap of an object and then I try to move that object (AutoCad 2017).

Here a minimal working example:

  1. I created 2 rectangle and 2 mleader: one mleader is snapped at the midpoint of the segment of the rectangle, the second is snapped at the geometric center snap of the other rectangle.
  2. I select all (both rectangles and mleaders) and use MOVE command:
    1. as you can see in the second picture, the mleader snapped at midpoint correctly moves along and stay snapped at the midpoint of the segment;
    2. the mleader snapped at geometric center move just the text, but keep the original starting point, thus changing shape, and it's no longer associated with the geometric center snap of the rectangle.

During the MOVE command the mleader seems to move correctly, but after finishing the MOVE command there is a rubber band effect where the mleader revert back to the original position.

Also if I move just the rectangles, the mleader snapped at midpoint correctly follow the snap at the new location, instead the mleader snapped at geometric center doesn't follow the snap, like it's not being associated with it.

Hi,

sorry, no solution, just the confirmation so you know you are not alone 😉

And it is creating the same incorrect result with command _STRETCH as well as with grip-functionality ... and AutoCAD 2018 also does it wrong.

You should send that to the support.
