Hi,

usually this message appear when you do not have the required font file or it has not been placed in the correct folder location.you can select another font from STYLE command (some times it's work).

Hi @Anonymous,

As @imadHabash said, this message means a font is missing.. A lot of fonts are available for free on the internet your missing font may be one of them..

So for now, choose replace, and check the name of the missing font, and search for it in the internet.. If you didn't find it - choose the closest font in name to it, it might have better chance working..

Regards..

Ask the person that sent you the DWG file for the missing SHX files: these could actually be shape files and part of other objects than just text. Just like that pop-up read:

Capture.PNG

If this is your own file, then you added this problem to your DWG with a free block from an outside source. Ask them for that missing shx file(s).

SHX is a compiled shape file created by AutoCAD, a 2D and 3D design and engineering application. It may contain shape and font definitions for displaying custom text. It supports many Type 1 PostScript fonts. It is used for storing smaller building blocks and fonts that are frequently inserted in drawings.
