Can anyone help me get the shx file for a CADKON?

I am missing this from a drawing and cannot find it anywhere or if you can help me with how to remove it from the drawing that would be great as well.

a) Ask the file creator for the files.
If he works with an AutoDesk product: It would be useful to pack and send files with the ETRANSMIT command, including all the necessary external files.

b) Ask application vendors, if thats from an Application and you know that.

c) Help yourself with command STANDARDS

d) Make your file available and we'll help you.

(please name the SHX file name again exactly)

Remove from drawing:

Command STYLE
Highlight each style, one at a time, in the top-left
list box and take note of the font name drop-down.
If one comes up as missing, simply reassign a font file
to that style.
Apply and Close buttons.

Nope did not work.

Getting the file from the vendor is not an option either.  Is there any way to remove it totally?

I have tried to reassign the shx file but it will not take any of them.  Is there a way to locate what graphics are using this shx file?

STYLE command won't let you select another font? Or is this a linetype SHX?

Also try CHECKSTANDARDS command in AutoCAD, use one of your templates, as noted in the first reply you got.

Hi @tschaeferZNBXX,

From what I am reading online, this SHX is used in linetypes.  If you would like to share your file with me perhaps I can locate which linetype is utilizing the font and then give you a version that uses a different SHX.

HI @tschaeferZNBXX,

Did you fix the linetypes that are using this font?  If you need help still, please attach your file so I can take a look and clean out the SHX file for  you.

No fix in sight.

I cannot attach the file I am sorry.  I tried to select an different shx but it will not clear the error.  I have went through all the text and cannot see where it is used anywhere.  I have all layers on and unfrozen but still the same issue.

Are you sure it's a font file, and not an SHX linetype shape file?

Does WBLOCK out the content you want to keep remove it?
Does INSERTing the file into one of your template files resolve it?

Then just live with it, since the missing "cadkon" really needs to come from the file creator, unless you want to purchase this 3rd party tool http://www.manusoft.com/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=5&redirected=1&option=com_virtuemart&...

Hi @tschaeferZNBXX,

As i mentioned in my prior post, it is the linetypes that are trying to reference these SHX files. If you attach your file I can fix that for you.
