Missing “Plot style table (pen assignments) problem

Hi

I am facing Plot sstyle table issues
I installed Autocad 2019

when I created a new DWG, when I tried to plot, on the "plot" window in the "Plot style table" I can see only the stb files (attachment Plot style table 1.jpg).

When I am using  previous version DWG I can see in the "Plot" window the ctb files.

Searching in the forums, I found that all ctb/stb gile must be locate at C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2019\R23.0\enu\Plotters\Plot Styles
I did so (attachment Plot style table 2.jpg).

The problem has still occurred

Please advise

Thanks

Hi,

>> when I created a new DWG, when I tried to plot, on the "plot" window

>> in the "Plot style table" I can see only the stb files

This depends which template you used to create a new drawing file ... the ones with filename "*Plot Styles.dwt" use STB, the other ones use CTB.

For existing drawings you can use command CONVERTPSTYLES (>>>details<<<).

Hi Alfred,

thanks for your help but still something is not working for me

When opening New file (attachment open file.jpg) in the Plot style it appears None (plot style.1.jpg). open the list I can see only stb files (plot style2.jpg).

Using the CONVERTPSTYLES helps as you said

But using that command for the existing file didn't help

Appreciate your help

Hi,

How did you create a new file and which template did you then chose?

>> But using that command for the existing file didn't help

Can you please upload one of the files where command _CONVERTPSTYLES does not help ... and please let me know

  • when you started the command, what did the command-line report back to you
  • what happened that you think it did not work
