Missing pen styles

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me on this.

I have just installed Acad 2021.

I realized the pen styles (all the color 1 to 255) in the plot style editor are missing for all the plot styles.

Attached is the screenshot of the plot styles editor window.

This is the first time I have encountered this and has no idea how to fix it.

Please help.

Thanks.

looks like you're confused with acad.stb vs acad.ctb

acad.stb shows only 2 Normal & Style 1

but acad.ctb shows the 1 to 255 colors

Hi,

If one start a new drawing, the first considerations are:

a) Will I use imperial or metric(ISO)  units?

b) Will I use color-depend or (named plotstyle)tables?

And related to the answers, you have to select the right template

or the right pre-settings (for new files which are not based on a template),

what are  - a) MEASUREINIT and b) PSTYLEPOLICY

The one who created this file, selected a template to use the more powerful and smart 'named Plotstyle' template file.

You forgot to copy over your customized ACAD.STB from your older ACAD variant that you sued: is that still intact on your PC (or another PC)? If not, you're starting over from scratch. Sorry.

OR... are you used to only using to CTB plot style tables and you opened a DWG file that is need an STB instead? A DWG file can use STB or CTB pen styles, never both at the very same time.

Which is it please?
