So I was working in my old pc designing a project with several references i used uploaded files in onedrive and my personal documents also in onedrive. However, recently I upgraded my pc and opened same design project again it show some drawing are missing from background. I tried to reload reference but it still stays the same. but today I started working on same old pc and it shows complete drawing how come this happens if all drawing are in onedrive only.

Assuming that your "missing drawing in background" is an external reference:

 

By default, OneDrive path structure is C:\Users\YourUsername\OneDrive\

 

If your old and new PC have different usernames, full (absolute) paths will differ.

As result, any inserted xref will be missing (Status "Not Found"):

To fix it, right-click on the missing xref and select Find and Replace:

Replace the old path with the new one:

Otherwise, to avoid updating xref's paths in every drawing, you should change OneDrive default path.
