Mirroring in Autocad without additional linework

Considering the floor plan arrangement shown in picture1.

You need a mirror line to create the right-hand floor arrangement shown in picture2.

Which tool option below should I use to make sure the mirror line is centered between the two wall lines without adding additional linework?

Here are the options:

1. Mid Between Two Points (M2P)

2. Intersection (INT)

3. Midpoint (MID)

4. Endpoint (END)

Hi,

it seems that you have a kind of exam some where !!!

Any way ... the answer is Mid Between Two Points (M2P) .

Q: did you know why M2P is the right answer ?

You gave him an answer even though you knew it was an exam question? SMH...

I usually mirror objects in autocad by drawing a line then use end point or mid point snap to mirror. I tried using all the options in autocad except the M2P. I also already knew the correct answer but I could not find M2P or even MTP in the osnap setting. That is why I was confused as to why the correct answer is M2P if there is not even a snap that I can see in autocad called M2P.

Here is a picture of osnap setting but there is no M2P in there:

You're in the wrong tab.  You want the Object [without the 3D] Snap tab:

I tried the other tab too. I still do not see M2P. Here is a picture of the other tab you highlighted.

It cannot be a running object snap. It is accessible in the same way you normally activate temporary/non-running snaps.

You can hold [shift] then press right button mouse ( Shift + Right click )  then choose it from the list . M2P is consider as a command modifier that can be used with running object snaps or object snap overrides.

I see it now. For some reason, I did not see it when I was Shift + right-click for snap points so I started looking for it in the snap setting. Also, I was expecting the name to be M2P so maybe that is why I did not see it initially.

Thank you for the clarification.
