Measure section of polyline

This is my question: I draw connected elements - lines and arcs. Next I used a command edit polyline to change them to polyline objects and then join together.

Now I want to measure a section which (for exemple) start in the half of the line and end in the half of the arc. Is it any function in AutoCad to do it?

Nope, break at those points and find the length then UNDO, you can say Autocad is crappy at that.

Welcome to these Forums!

No, I don't think you can do that in a single measurement.  But as a not-entirely-satisfactory workaround [maybe no better than Patchy's suggestion], you could do a linear Dimension on the line-segment part, and a DIMARC on the arc segment to get its length.  Unfortunately, it seems you need to dimension the entire arc segment at first, but you can then grip-drag one definition point to somewhere else along it.  Then add up the lengths of those Dimensions.

Thanks for information. I found tool which may be helpful and solve this problem.

It is Ruler Application for AutoCad:
