I am using AutoCAD, I have created a block with attributes, to be able to extract text, to create a cut list for houses and or buildings. The problem that I am running into is that when I create an extraction table, it is never relative and I have to re-do all my work for each project that I start. In a week I will have to do the same repetitive steps for each floor of a building with a minimum of 80 tables, each exaction table requires 8 steps this is adding up to a ton of my time. I could us an experts help, I have also attached a sample of my finished cut list. I am looking to either learn how to make relative paths or find a new way of making a cut list, please help.
