Make 3d objects curved surface smooth

Hi. I am trying to repair the inside of a curved surface shown in attachments. And there is a hole going though as well. I have used Solidedit, Face, Delete with some results. I have tried Extrude Faces, Path with some results as well. But the complicated form of the model makes all kinds of errors with those commands. Thicken would not work for me.

I need the inside of the surface to be smooth and the hole to be there still? Any help will be highly valuable 🙂

You could try creating a cross section of shape and then revolving it a few degrees. Then use Union to fill the existing bad patch and finally cut a new hole through.

Yes that is a good way. Cut a pie of clean body and rotate towards damage area and subtract from what you have and then union. Thx 🙂
