Macro to create LOTS of Layout Tabs.

Good day,

So I set-up a layout just the way I like.  Printer configuration, view-port layer colors and properties, arrangement of v-ps. Real nice.

So I hit the record macro button. Use the pull-up on my first tab to "Move or Copy" in that window i hit "Create a Copy" select "(move to end)" and finally OK. Stop recording. Fill in the blanks in create macro dialogue. and so far so good.

I hit play and it runs and says " Layout with that name already exists. Macro cancelled"  Shucks.

I would love to be able to insert a layout name but Where? How? When

Thank you for looking at my query.            Spence Ball                         Silver Spring, MD           USA

There is a lisp routine that works well doing that at following link:

Q: why not create all the layouts you want ahead of time in a template file, then use that template or drag/drop the layouts from that template when you need them?
