Linked Autocad and Excel table - ruined formatting

Hi everyone!

I have a very annoying problem in Autocad. If I link a table with an Excel table, and I update it, the format of the Autocad table brokes. I tried several options to keep the format, but none helped.

If somebody knows a solution for this please let me know.

Thank you!

Hi @m.draviczki

You tried to test these options:

table.jpg

Or another quick solution is select all cells and copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) to another location and modify format

I tried to create a new cell style, but when I update, the table format brokes, and if I apply the style again, it happens nothing.

I also tried to create a new cell style on the table cell tab, but it didn't work either.

For the last time I formatted the table and then I locked the formatting. When I updated it fell apart. 😞

Any other ideas?

Try to modify format in Excel (font type, text height,...)  and link again

I turned off Excel formatting, because in Autocad I need exact values. I want only the content to be copied in the Autocad table and the format should stay I set (in Autocad).

I tried all these options, but none of them solved the problem. 😞
