Lineweights not plotting in Monochrome

I did not use to have this problem in the past when working on my old work computer, but on my new work computer with the same CAD files and settings as before when I go and plot a PDF to monchrome as I usually do for B&W plans it will no longer show the different linetypes. All the lines look the same.

For example my existing structure lines are a light gray and plot a lighter color, but for new structures and lines they plot darker, etc. as they should.

If i plot in Grayscale it will show them as what they should look like, but then makes my yellow text hard to read and very light.

Hopefully it is something simple as I do not want to go and edit all of my line types again.

then you need to copy from your old computer the monochrome.ctb with your lineweight setting and paste it into your new computer in the manage plot styles to use your existing setting unless you set your setting of your monochrome.ctb lineweight lines and save in your new computer. thanks

If the Grayscale .ctb suits your Drawing, Edit that style to all black may work for you.

If I edit the grayscale will it stay consistent on a new project after I save it on this project?

Thank you.

Should I just drop these files into the plot settings somehow?

Start STYLESMANAGER command in your AutoCAD session: the correct folder for your plot styles table will open, that's where you drop them.
