lines not smooth

My lines do not look smooth. I think this happens with only the sloped lines. How can i fix this?

Welcome to the Community.  This is simply due to the resolution of your screen.  You'll notice that if you zoom in the jagged edges become more pronounced, and if you zoom out they appear smoother.  It's just the nature of CAD and has been since I can remember (and that's a long time).  As long as you have dimensioned/constrained the lines correctly, your drawing/model will be accurate.  The quality of your output will depend on what device you use, such as a good quality printer/plotter.

Almost all computer graphics displays are raster displays which rely on rows of evenly space dots (pixels) to represent an image.  If a line is drawn at an angle other than 0°, 45° or 90° there will be stairstepping, also known a jaggies or aliaising.  Th effect is more noticable for lines at small angle, and on displays of lower resolution.  Vector displays can draw a line precisely from one point on the screen to another with any jaggies where a raster display must detemine how many dots in a row must be used for each "stairstep".   Antialiasing is used to soften the edges of the steps but may cause the image to seems out of focus. Vector displays were replaced by raster displays in CAD in the early 1980's but they are still used in air traffic control!  To reduce the effect use a higher resolution monitor where the steps will be smaller and less noticable.  Raster displays provide many benefits for CAD over vector displays but their main shortcoming is stairstepping.

Please type in the command "LINESMOOTHING" and set it to "1". This should fix it.
