Line Type Can't Delete After Changing Line Type As Well

Hi All,

Please see attached. When I'm trying to delete some line types from line type manager, I'm getting an error message as indicated in attached. I've changed all line types to ByLayer and tried. But still the same error message was showing. Advise any option to recover unwanted line types. 

Note that I've tried WBLOCK command already in this drawing and unfortunately it was NOT working here.

you have to search in your drawing and make sure that this linetype is NOT used. you can nor delete used linetype .

Thank you for your reply. Currently I'm using 2013 version. I will update it to a higher version and run the purge as you suggested. Hope it will work.

If you can upgrade to 2015, that's great.

For 2013, you can delete these linetypes by using the DGN Hotfix provided by Autodesk.

Also I have a plugin published in the Autodesk appstore

I've tried with  DGN Hotfix as you noted and one file got corrected. But when I'm using the same procedure in one of my other corrupted file, I'm getting an error message as indicated in attached. The error details also included in attached text file for your reference. Can you please look into this and advise any remedy if available.

This error comes from the DGN Hotfix module.

Try Auditing (AUDIT command) the drawing and then run the DGN command.

Please note that auditing may take long time depends on your drawing size.

Otherwise try the plugin I mentioned earlier.

It is look like this linetype is XREF-dependent (so some entities in xref-file has this linetype). Such linetype can not been deleted from host-file before this linetype do not been deleted from XREF-file.

And command PURGE can not removed this linetype? I'd like to see this dwg-file.
