Line thickness in the printed PDF, please help.

Hi!

I have created a 3D model and I am converting it into a paper drawing (the Print tag of the attached dwg file). However when I save it to a PDF I found the lines are too thick that some overlap. Such problem is not seen in the dwg file. How can I adjust the line thickness of the printed file?

I am using CutePDF to produce the PDF file.

Thanks,

Raymond

open up your layer manager and give each layer besides a color and linetype property, as well an lineweight.

Below your autocad screen, there is a button LWT

with this you can toggle the preview of showing the lineweights of your drawing or not.

This is the first half, that you be sure on screen - your lines have the correct wineweights

When printing, try the "dwg to pdf.pc3" first.

Open up the full Plot dialog box. There is an >> button besides the help button that maybe hides a partial of your screen. Be sure to open it.

In the upper right corner there is a drop down box called "Plot Style Table".

When you use the acad.ctb your drawing should be printed with an lineweight of "Use Object Lineweigth".

The button besides the dropdownbox allows you to edit the style table

Thank you very much Jurgen.

My problem is solved and I can print the drawing as I want it to be.
