layout tabs

my layout tabs will randomly switch places.I create them in a sequnce, ex. layout 1, layout 2, etc. they will randomly change order usually when i switc\h from one to the another. any ideas as to why? I am carefull not to drag or anything

You didn't mention which version, but if 2015, make sure you have the Layout Order Shifting Hotfix applied

Sorry... i am running 2015. I downloaded the Hotfix, and need to see if it works . thanks for the help.
