Hi everyone 

 

What does mean this dashed line on Autocad Layout and How can I Align my titleblock to the page edges exactly

The dashed line layout represents the non-printable margin. To align your title block to the actual page edges, adjust your page setup margins to zero or use precise coordinate insertion. >> Click <<  >> Click1 << >> Click2 <<

That dashed line represents AutoCAD's non-printable area.

 

You can PUSH that dashed line all the way to the edge of the sheet to optimize your printing area. Choose your sheet carefully. Select Full Bleed for best results.

Compare image above with a Full Bleed sheet.

2.2.

 

To establish Osnaps at the corners of your Full Bleed sheet, draw a rectangle the same size as your sheet, e.g. W11"xH8.5. Put this rectangle on a non-printing layer then move it so the lower left corner is at 0,0. Next, do this:

Finally, complete your setup by placing your titleblock at the desired location.
