Layer window text is cut horizontally

This is happening in the layers window and in the saving window. Ive tried changing the res andthe font size and not working

It seems as your AutoCAD or Windows is setup to use 'big fonts'. Try resetting it to 100%.

Or maybe changing you Screen resolution to another  like 1920x1080 could help.

Hi @Anonymous,

AutoCAD 2016 does not include support for hi-res screens.

I suggest you change your resolution to 1920x1080 and your fonts to 100-125%

Unfortunately changing the resolution and font size made no difference. All the other windows work great. And if I change the resolution and font size it makes the working windows less viewable.

Hi @Anonymous,

I suggest setting the screen resolution and Windows font size as I previously provided and then perform a Reset Settings to Default.

Please let me know if that corrects the display issue.

If that works you can try to increase your screen resolution but you might face the same issue. Perhaps you should also check for a more recent graphics driver as well.

I brought my laptop to my college computer help desk. They were able to modify the resolution and text size just in the autocad program so the changes didn't effect every other program.   After this fix it is much better but I'm not sure if its the way it should be.
