layer unisolate doesn't work

I could use LAYISO command or the proper button to get into a specific layer. However, I am not allowed to undo the isolation. I tried LAYUNISO as well as the out button, but nothing happened. Any recommendations? Thanks!!

Does that mean you also don't get this message in the command-line?

Also tried command _REGEN afterwards?

Have you restarted your computer? Reboot  AutoCAD?
