Layer Manager Palette Background Color

How do I get my palette background back to white like it used to be, instead of gray?

This doesn't do what I am asking for. When I open my layer manager on my
laptop, to change some of my layer settings, the background palette color is
gray. At my office station it is white. Not sure why the difference or how
to change it back to white.

What is your Windows OS at the laptop? At the office?
What version of AutoCAD at the laptop? At the office?
Where are your screenshots to show us what it is you are struggling with?

OK, so this is a screen shot of the desktop in my rented business office.
This background is white which is what I am used to seeing and what I
prefer. My laptop in my home office is gray background. Screenshot not
attached here but hopefully you get the idea. How can I get the background
in this layer palette to be white on both systems?.

Both office and home stations are Windows 10 with AutoCad 2017

You need to come to the website to post images: you cannot do so from your email client by replying to the email.

That's gray, a very light gray perhaps, but it's not white. The titlebar where NAME is located is white.
That's also on a second screen: what's the video card?

I'd love to see the laptop version too when you get home later: dual screen there too?

I'll send it later this evening with the one I just sent so you can compare
them side by side. Hmm, looks white to me. When you see the other later
from laptop, you'll really see the difference.

Thanks for your support.

What was the response that solved your problem.  Somehow it was eliminated from the page.

OPTIONS/DISPLAY/WINDOW ELEMENTS/COLOR SCHEME

Once in Color Scheme, you have3 two choices, Light/Dark.

I like Light.

Hope this helps,

Changing it to light did the trick.

Thanks.
