Layer List or Information, (for Extraction)

Hi Community,

As the title implies, I am trying to find out if there is a way to get a "Layer List or Information", for extraction, into a spreadsheet? I know that I can take screen views (refer to attachment or photo below) and I thought there was a way in settings to export that information. Any help, or a point in the right direction would greatly be appreciated.

Again, "Thanks in advance"

Hi,

@milton_fitzgerald

  • Type -LAYER command then type ? to get the list that can be Copied to any other file like excel sheet OR from Layer manager select all layers Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C .
  • also you can use and try this Layer Extractor that enables a user to generate a report detailing for layer structure >>> Click <<

@AllenJessup  & @imadHabash,

Thank-you both..!! The "Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C, & Ctrl-V" option worked the best for what we needed.

I believe how we got off on the wrong step was by using the dialog box with the "Rt-Click Menubar" (refer to photo):

"Thank-you Both Again..!!"
