launch AutoCAD

Hello Dear AutoCAD specialists!

Please tell me how to force launch AutoCAD without the "Tool Palettes Manager" open (*AutoCAD was closed with the "Tool Palettes Manager" open.)?

If the Tool Palettes manager was open when you closed AutoCAD it’s OK. It doesn’t affect the program the next time you launch it. 

There’s has to be something else that’s causing the failure to launch.

Would it be possible to describe what you were doing right before you shut down?  Be detailed. (You may leave out the part about the Tool Palette being open because that part is unimportant.)

I need to just open AutoCAD without the palette panel.

Try this:

1. Click Manage tab  Customization panel User Interface. 

 

2. In the Customize tab, Customizations In <file name> pane, expand Workspaces, and select the workspace containing the palette that you want to modify.

3. In the Workspace Contents pane, click the plus sign (+) next to Palettes to expand it. 

4. Select the palette that you want to modify.

 

5. In the Properties pane=>TOOL PALETTE=>In the Show Box, select NO.

Try and Cycle through the one you want.

The tool paletts are a part of the workspace. You can change the workspace by opening palette or closing them. Once you have your workspace set up how you like it, you can save that workspace. Next time AutoCAD opens in that workspace, it will be configured how you want it. 

Or if you prefer to have AutoCAD open the same way you left it every time you make a change, you can click on workspace settings. Then select Automatically save workspace changes.
