Help!!!!

Okay, it's not an emergency, but I've recently upgraded from AutocadLT 2013 to full Autocad 2019, and I'm trying to get my old keyboard shortcuts to work in the middle of commands.

What I had set up from back in Autocad R14 days was a list of accelerator keys in an MNU file. If I typed LINE and hit ENTER and then held down SHIFT and E, Autocad would automatically search for an endpoint. I had several other snaps set up as well. This always translated into new versions of Autocad and AutocadLT as the years rolled by.

Now, when I'm not in a command, and I hit SHIFT and E, the command line says "_ENDP Unknown command "ENDP".  Press F1 for help." just as it always would have. So I know somewhere Autocad is recognizing my old accelerator keys. But, when I'm in the middle of a command and try it, all I get is a capital E at the crosshairs.

I'm sure it's a toggle or something someplace, but I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction or tell how to do it better in the new software.

Thanks.

Justin

Works fine here in AutoCAD2019: did you do more that just start using AutoCAD2019? Like swap menus etc. or pick up an add-on?

I did add an old menu that has a couple of macros that I created eons ago, and stores my accelerator keys.

I figured out what the issue was though. There were other keyboard shortcuts lower down the tree list in the customization file that were taking precedent. Once I reordered and deleted some stuff, it seems to be working the way it has in the past.

@Oakhillarchitects , I fixed the problem!

At least on my end. I was literally having the same problem.

What I did:

1) CUI on command line

2) Under Customizations in All Files window, select "Main Customization File" rather than "All Customization Files"

3)Now, look at your keyboard shortcuts in the Shortcuts Window, and delete/alter the entries which conflict with those you've set for your shortcuts. I.e. I set SHIFT+P to Snap, Perpendicular. It was set to something else I don't really use.

4) Now, your keyboard shortcuts should work during a command!

Note that I had dragged over these shortcut keys from a Partial Customization File that I haven't unloaded, so maybe that's why step #2 was crucial for me. Perhaps your case is different, but I hope my solution works for you!
