I received a drawing from my friend who is the engineer from Japan, but I cannot open this drawing by AutoCAD.

So, is it any way to import or open the file?

Hi,

It's NOT applicable for AutoCAD ... a JWW file is a CAD drawing file format used by the JW_CAD software, which is popular in Japan. While it's the native format for JW_CAD, the extension can also refer to a Java Web-Workflows Data format from different software. You need the correct software, either JW_CAD or compatible programs like ZWCAD or RootPro CAD, to open and work with the file. >> Click <<

@kylekiller1988QV37T  hi,

Or you could ask your friend to convert it to dwg for you 😀

Could you ask your friend in Japan to provide you with a dxf file?

Encountered this before, we downloaded the JWCAD for us to open it.

If I remember correctly, there is a DXF option to export or save it which can then be imported or opened in AutoCAD.
