Joining two AutoCAD solids while making the joining area transitional

I am trying to join the M and the cylinder together but I need it to be transitional. I want it to transition from the M to the cup smoothly.

Loft is about all you can do with autocad.

Did you figure out the loft process to build the transition between the two parts?

I did. It took a little playing around with but it did end up working.
