Items in block not selectable or visible when editing

Hi guys,

There is a block already inserted named v_tagging. I cannot edit the block in place, and I can't see anything in the block editor. Select all or zooming doesn't allow to go select or view any of the attributes in the block.

What's wrong?

Your block only contains an Attribute, nothing else. After insertion and adding a definition to the attribute I can edit it with REFEDIT and BEDIT commands. If you do not add a definition it remains hidden from view.

Your file has a lot of other problems too, plus the fact that it comes from a vertical version of AutoCAD:

Dear pendean,

I copied the block from another drawing and was defined as I needed. Unless this drawing has already its own definition (which I dont remember making), I'm not sure why it was copied like this. I suppose this is the only explanation though?

So ultimately, can't select it because there isn't anything to select.

Also, perhaps because I opened with with other open source softwares and saved it so it's showing licencing issues.

For ease of identification I deleted the rest of the drawing, didn't have time to purge. I can accept the presence of many line types and annotation scales, but are there any other problems you see?

Hi,

So I tried to redefine the block. I can't delete and purge the block (suspicious), so I can only copy the contents in block editor mode. Once saved and I re-enter block editor opens to a weird lagging image. Block is not anonymous or annotative. Not sure what, but something is off.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

You want to change it how exactly? See attached, try to insert the block in this file, I changed everything in it using BEDIT command.
