Issues with Batch Plot to PDF

Today, when I do a Batch Plot through SHEET SET MANAGER as I have always done, I keep getting a pop up message saying, "A serious error occurred while processing your request. Click to review plot and publish details..."
When I go in to review the errors, the new window says, "Job: - Plotted". No errors.
No PDF was created, though. I could only create PDF page by page.
I've tried restarting AutoCAD. I've restarted my computer. I've recreated the Sheet Set, and none worked.
Please help!

Does this happen with all of your DST (SSM) files? or just this one set?
What are you publishing to? What about if you aim for a different driver or use a different pagesetup?
What changed on your PC or setup or where you store files or whatever else recently?

Did you turn on (or forget to turn off) background publishing?

@pendean  It is happening to all my DST files.
As I described previously, I've restarted AutoCAD.  I've restarted the computer.  I've recreated the DST, but none of them worked.

I am publishing to PDF as I have done for the last 15 years (include the whole setup), to either the laptop or external hard drive.  I am still able to plot single page PDF through PLOT/PRINT.
Nothing's changed. I was Batch Plotting my projects without any issues, yesterday.

I did not turn on nor turn off the background publishing.

Try a different PDF driver, see if that changes the issue: and ensure background publishing is indeed off.

What different PDF driver?  How do I change that?
How do I turn background publishing off?

Is it working to use PUBLISH?

Turn off background plotting/publishing by typing BACKGROUNDPLOT on the command line and set it to 0.

It might be that you need to do a repair or reinstall of AutoCAD if nothing else work.

@Anonymous New to SSM? or AutoCAd or PUBLISH command? you can pull up PUBLISH command's pop-up from your SSM list to change the PDF driver like this in the right-click menu

Thanks!
Changing the PDF drive didn't work, but unchecking the Publish in background worked.

Thank you!
I turned off the Publish in background through "Publish Dialog Box..." and that seemed to have worked.
