Issue with line/polyline lag

Hi,

I've recently been experiencing a bad lag in AutoCAD 2020 when trying to draw lines or polylines (as well as dimension between two point, or any other 2D command).  I am running a MS Surface Pro 6 with Win 10.

Everything has been fine to date, but suddenly this issue arose. Whenever I use these commands, the program seems to lag, or jitter between points, making it impossible to work effectively. However if i am drawing a square or anything else of the like, it runs absolutely fine....

As a bit of background, this issue occured several months ago as well and I contacted MS as i assumed it was a hardware issue, however they could never fix the problem, nor could I by deleting the reinstalling software. They ended up replacing my Surface Pro and everything started fine... but now the issue is back...

Please show us two screenshots, one from command _ABOUT and the second from command _GRAPHICSCONFIG.

Is it only slow when you are not plugged in (power)?

Thank you!

I'm just a dumb engineer so don't know much about CAD, but this fixed it immediately...

Hilarious MS gave me a brand new computer for it though.

Cheers
