For the 2025 AutCAD installation the ISO.shx font became smaller in size, 4kb. In 2019-2024 it is 11kb.

And it missing special swedish character ÅÄÖ.

Why is that?

Report the problem to Autodesk but for now you’ll have to inform the users how to use the previous version.

True - that's why we have a support folder on a network share holding all kinds of stuff, including shx files, so everybody uses the same files regardless AutoCAD version.

I got an answer from autodesk

It is because they want to reduce file size.

"...SHX fonts, including ISO.shx have diacritic restrictions. In versions before 2024, for example German and Swedish characters were available, which is not available in the current version. Polish and Czech characters for example were not available at all. The reason for this is to reduce the size of the installation files and the space the program takes up on the disk. The program is evolving, so some features had to give way to others..."

once again, you'll have to come up with a way to resolve the issue on your own.
