Iso Message symbol scale inconsistency

When an iso message is placed on a flange in the model, the symbol is tiny. Far smaller than the weld symbol (see images). Placed anywhere else, like a pipe, its the regular size.

This makes it really hard to find when looking through the model. What could be the problem here?
