is there anyway to shape this desing to square?

Hello ppl im trying to fit that desing into a square shape but failing, searched stretch yet it aslo did not help. does anybody know an autamated (ex: block scaling)way to change this shape to square? thanks.

HI,

you have first to modify the two horizontal lines to be not perspective and as you start to do from the two horizontal red lines.after you get full rectangle you can to convert it as a block then insert it again and change the x or y factor to become a square.

Sorry, got pulled away from the desk.  Yes, indeed.  That is the add-in and procedure (only with the "ToOrtho" toggle) employed.

This came very handy thanks a lot, i wonder if its possible to maintain connection points tho. Once i used the 2d add-in all the connection points got separated somehow so i had to connect them 1 by 1 again in order to region them and that was a extremely exhausting process.

The routine uses a modest Tolerance setting - to keep execution time fairly quick.  The resultant geometry can be scaled such that any misalignment can be minimized to stay within the REGION commands tolerance.  See attached.  Both original and corrected have produced the same number (62) Regions.

The geometry can be rescaled as needed.

That`s what I've been specifically looking for thanks, would you please tell me how did you manage to keep connection points? when i try that i get only a little partition of regions which i previously created. example blue regions created before pro2d and green ones are after the pro2d.

Needed further scaling.  See if this will region.

I may have to revisit that routine and add an option to modify tolerances.  Let the user decide between speed or accuracy.

That worked with every region, i assume it's something about tolerance tweaks of pro2d you mentioned, this addon going to be very useful if i can change the tolerance settings to maintain regions in place. It can save a lot of time in that case. May i ask your tolerance number in that last attachment and where do i change it (if i can change it)

As far as I know, the tolerance for Region creation is hard coded by Autodesk.   The only influence a users has is via scaling.
